standard specification of aggregate sampling

General : Sampling is equally as important as the testing. and the sampler shall use every precaution to obtain samples that will show the nature and condition of the materials which They represent.

Sampling from flowing aggregate stream: Must select the material random every time needed from various place, and then combine them to get a unit sample which is explained in Table 1,every sample must select across from the cross section of the flowing sample, it is necessary to build a special device to obtain such a sample.

Sampling from Stock piles or Transportation Units: strongly avoid to mix the sampled coarse aggregate or coarse aggregate or fine aggregate together, try to sample separately even the require the same test working or using for same place and purpose. some where which occur this happened ,try to design the way for sampling which consider all accurate tips .this approach will allow the sampling agency to use a sampling plan that will give a confidence in results obtained there from that is agreed upon by all parties concerned to be acceptable for the particular situation. the sampling plan shall define the number of samples necessary the represent list and sub lists of specific sizes. General principle of sampling would from stock piles may use for sampling from trucks, railways, barges or other transportation units.
Shipping Samples: Transport aggregates in bags or Other containers so constructed as to preclude loss or contamination of any part of the sample, or damage to the contents from mishandling during shipment.
